Eva Zimianiti

With a background in history and political thought, Eva Zimianiti is interested in international crises and conflicts – their origin, unfolding, and geopolitical significance, as well as their humanitarian repercussions. Her post-graduate research focused on the law of war and the place of deception in international relations, treating elements of continuity and interplay between the spheres of war and peace. Eva holds a BA in History and an MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History from the University of Cambridge; she has also completed short courses with SciencesPo and Amnesty International. She is keen to survey and critically assess geopolitical developments, offering an analytical angle that elucidates, through a historical lens, the roots and trends of current affairs.
