Emily Wallerstrom
Intern
Emily Wallerstrom is our new scholar joining Strategy International. Currently, she is completing her Bachelors in International Relations (BSc) at Leiden University in The Netherlands. She provides a unique perspective to our enterprise, as her youthful and multicultural background brings new ideas to Strategy International. She is half Cypriot, half Swedish, and has spent the last two years in the Netherlands. She aims to further her interest in international relations through hands-on experience in consulting and research.
Although just now embarking on her professional career, she has spent her formative years in political engagement programs. Starting with the European Youth Parliament and Model United Nations, she has gained both an understanding and a passion about the functioning of the institutions which dominate international politics. She has previously worked as a Research Assistant shadowing academics and undertaking political research.
