Delphi, Greece, April 2026

Strategy International (SI) successfully concluded its participation in the Delphi Economic Forum XI, one of Europe’s most prominent platforms for dialogue on global economic, political, and geopolitical challenges.

Held from April 22 to 25, 2026, the Forum brought together a wide array of global leaders, policymakers, academics, and industry experts for four days of high-level discussions on the rapidly evolving international landscape. The 11th edition featured over 200 sessions and closed-door meetings addressing critical issues such as geopolitical fragmentation, energy security, technological transformation, and the future of the global economy.

The Forum hosted more than 1,000 speakers and participants from across sectors, including heads of state and government, European Union officials, and leaders of major international organizations.

Representing Strategy International, Prof. Dr. Marios P. Efthymiopoulos, Director of SI, delivered two high-level interventions:

In his interventions, Prof. Dr. Efthymiopoulos addressed the European Union’s evolving strategic posture in Eurasia and examined the resilience of small and middle powers in an era defined by intensifying great-power competition. His contributions aligned closely with the Forum’s central themes, particularly the shifting geopolitical balance and Europe’s role within it.
