Prof. Dr. Francis Schortgen

Senior Scholar, International Business & Security in Asia.

Prof. Dr. Schortgen is the Associate Dean of Faculty at the University of Utah Asia Campus in Incheon, South Korea. He previously was a Full Professor of International Affairs & National Security in the Dept. of Social Sciences (for which he also served as chair), and a Full Professor of International Business in the School of Business at the University of Mount Union (USA). Before his move into academia, he had worked in the business consulting industry in Seoul, South Korea. 

He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (Miami University), an MBA (National University of Singapore), an MA in Asia-Pacific Studies (University of San Francisco) and a BA in Political Science and History (Miami University).
