Prof. Marios Panagiotis Efthymiopoulos
Prof. Marios Panagiotis Efthymiopoulos is Director General and Co-Founder of Strategy International. An Associate Professor of International Security, now at the Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy, Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania. He is a board member of the College of Security and Global Studies at the American University in the Emirates. Board member at the European Citizens Association and Board member at the Society of Cyprus Studies which creation of the latest, dates back to 1936.
Former positions include:
• Head of Department of History, Politics and International Studies at Neapolis University Pafos in Cyprus. Head of the PhD program in Security and International affairs and the coordinator of the Bsc Program in International Relations and Security
• Dean of the College of Security and Global Studies.
• Advisor & Analysis & Training specialist at the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) Abu Dhabi.
• Geostrategic Council of Cyprus, as advisory to the former President of Cyprus.

Prof. Marios Panagiotis Efthymiopoulos was a scholar of the prestigious Alexander S. Onassis Foundation. Has been awarded a PhD from the University of Crete, Political Science Department, Greece, specializing on NATO and NATO-Russia Relations, field of political science and international security (2008). He has obtained, NATO’s Defense College Diploma (Senior Course 105), including the Integrated PfP/OSCE Course 04/02 in Rome Italy (2005), specializing on international security, military and strategic affairs. He holds a Masters in Advanced International Studies (M.A.I.S) from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, Austria (2003) and a BA(Hons) in International Relations and Politics, from the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside (today University of Lincoln), from Lincoln, UK (2001).
