Dr AlSaied is an author, public speaker, researcher and news contributor, focusing on the Gulf region and the Middle East. She is consultant in strategic communication and crisis media management, certified in digital and social media marketing and communications.

Formerly an Adjunct Professor in the American University in the Emirates, College of Mass Media and Communication, she is a columnist in Al Ittihad and also columnist in Arab News. She is also a political analyst and contributor on i24NEWS English. Her book Twitter Diplomacy: Media Polarization Before and After the Abraham Accords, March 25, 2022, has been classified as a bestseller in the US.

Dr AlSaied earned her Ph.D. in Media Studies at the University of Westminster in London-UK in 2013. She holds two Master Degrees in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and Computer Information Systems, from the American University in Washington DC.
