Repercussions of the imminent Greece Vs. Germany case in I.C.J

On the 3rd of February 2012 the International Court of Justice issued a verdict over a matter of high importance regarding compensatory damages awarded to a state for war crimes and crimes against humanity during World War II. The importance of this case is such that, it refers to civil claims over state’s jurisdictional immunity. Italian courts violated Germany’s jurisdictional immunity, as it turned out.
