In today’s contemporary world, nations are no longer confined to their land borders or “hard shell”- threats and attacks have reached another dimension of confrontation: cyberspace. Critical infrastructure systems within states are at risk due to cybersecurity vulnerability. Some examples of risks that hackers and foreign intelligence agencies can use to paralyze society are altering financial figures, shutting down the electrical grid, stealing intellectual property, and controlling railroad switches.
